Today is a special day
A day above all else,
I move with your spirit...
I move and I apprehend.
To move is to leave behind the old
And start anew, breaking the old laws,
stretching the old lines.
New boundaries surround you
...and people stare.
Today I watch the two mover-guys put all of our things away in big brown boxes. They have no idea what each item means, or what funny story pops into my head every time I look at it. They are just two guys doing their job. They pack away the furniture and stuff it into a large truck, never to be touched by the sunlight until the day it arrives at the new house.
New houses are like trying a new food, or dish. You take your first taste and at that moment, you decide whether you like it or not. The initial flavor is the one that captures your attention.
I can't decide whether or not I am going to like the new house, or the new neighborhood because I haven't lived there yet! I am hopeful. I hope the good feeling lasts and that it leads to fulfilling what God has planned for me in this new season.
Well, now I go to lunch with my lovely grandma and her two best friends Bill and Judy. Actually, they might be some of my best friends too! I love watching them - they always have so much fun doing the most meaningless things. They play cards and dominoes; they eat tacos every Wednesday with hot sauce and coffee...Sometimes I join them in their festivities just because I can. Oh yes, and because I love them to death :) I wish I owned my own cafe and bakery so I could watch all the good friends come in to chat and share a bite.
That is all for now. I will update you with more info as to my move when I catch a few minutes to jot it down...
Blessings,
-his.
